An easy guide on howto activate multiple OEM licenses using a Slic certificate and a computer containing a Slic Bios. This can be done using any OS Medium and not specific to the Manufacturers installation disk.

1.) Download the following Zip which contains all the Slic Licenses for various Manafacturers CLICK HERE

2.) Install Windows 7 on a Single machine using a Standard Windows 7 installation disk

3.) Copy the appropriate license ( from the zip above ) to a folder on your C:\ e.g. "C:\Slic" . This should be the 2.1 version for windows 7 .

4.) Disable UAC to make this process a bit easier and reboot

5.) Open command prompt and type the following ( one at a time )

Copy Slic -

cscript C:\Windows\System32\slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\SLICNAME.xrm-ms

install Key
cscript C:\Windows\System32\slmgr.vbs /IPK xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

( You need to replace the xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx with a genuine OEM cdkey , these are available on the web with a Google search and each manufacture use there own key ( every machine activated with OEM cds will use this key )

cscript C:\Windows\System32\slmgr.vbs /ato

Now Reboot !

Love this blog and only found it like 2 mins ago. I use a pen drive to activate which is intergrated into the USB set up. Got it off a mate of mine a while back. 100% going to follow you after reading this page - Henry Seddon, Warrington, owner of R&H Laptop Repairs. Working out how to apply apple to windows via virtual machine. Any tips?
